Dr. Dan Wang is Associate Professor at the School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She holds a Ph.D. from Fox School of Business, Temple University in the USA; M.Phil. from School of Hotel and Tourism Management, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a B.S. from East China Normal University in China. Dr. Wang joined the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University as Assistant Professor in September 2012. Dr. Wang has served as part-time Instructor of Tourism and Hospitality Management at Temple University in the United States since March 2011. She had also worked in the National Laboratory for Tourism & eCommerce (NLTeC) as co-investigator for several research projects cooperating with U.S. Travel Association from August 2008 to May 2012. Dr. Wang’s current main research interests include information communication technology and travel information service, mobile marketing in tourism and hospitality, and the impact of new media communication on tourist behavior.
